TOURIST SPOTS IN NASIK

Phalke Smarak

Dadasaheb Phalke Smarak spread across a vast extend of 29 acres, and it holds a pretty garden in its courtyard. Placed in the pretty surroundings of a majestic Pandava caves, Dada Saheb Phalke Smarak is one among the busiest attractions in Nasik.

Trimbakeshwar

Trimbakeshwar is one of the holy place in India.It is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga.Of India.It is Located 38 kms away from Railway station. Godavari river originates in this place.
Another Important place here is Kushavarta – the place from where river Godavari takes its course. A dip in this sacred river wipes off the sins, is the belief of people.

Anjaneri

Anjaneri Village resides just 4kms before Trimbakeshwar .According to Mythological stories this place is birth place of Lord Hanuman.It has now also become a trekking spot for trekkers.

Dhamgiri, Igatpuri

Dhamagiri, Igatpuri. It is an International Vipshyna Center.It is located 1kms from Igatpuri Railway Station.Acharya Satynarayan Goyanka Founded this center.Situated on lush green hills, This Vipashyna center has become a major tourist attraction for Indian as well as Foreign tourists.

Saptashrungi Devi, Vani

Saptashrungi Devi Temple is located at Vani a place near the city of Nasik in the state of Maharashtra.It is Around 65 km from Nasik City. This place is one of the 51 shakti peeth in India .The devi is craved on rock cliff on the top of mountain Saptashrung in Sahaydri Mountains.

Navshya Ganpati Temple

Shree Navashya Ganapati is one of the famous temple for Lord Ganesha in Nasik. This temple is on the bank of river Godavari near Anandvali area. People make crowd every day take darshan of Lord Ganesh, Vighnaharta

Ganga Godavari  Temple

This is very famous temple in Nasik near Ramkunda.  Ganga Godavari mandir is based on the bank of River Godawari.
Peoples take darshan of this mandir after taking bath in River.

Goreram Temple

Shree Goreram Mandir is in Panchavati area at back side of Kapaleshwar Mandir.
This is one of the famous temple in Nasik city for Lord Rama.
This Temple is having similar importance as that of Kala Ram Mandir in Nasik.

Sita Gunfa

The cave has idols of Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshmna. The cave is accessible only through the help of a narrow staircase. Other significant importance of this temple is that the Shivlinga in the temple is the same idol, which was worshipped by Sita. It is one of the main attractions of Nasik.

Kapaleshwar Temple

It Is one  among the oldest Temples In Nasik.It is Located Near ramkund Panchavati.
The story behind it is that lord Shiva by mistake killed a cow (“GOHATYA”), to clean his sin the Nandi told him to go to NASIK and take a bath in Ramkund. As per Nandi’s instruction Lord Shiva came at NASIK and cleaned his sin by taking a bath in RAMKUND. And after that he done some JAP, the place where now the Temple is located.There are also  Shree Ganesh Mandir, Maruti Mandir, Gayatri Devi Mandir near Kapaleshwar Mandir

Kalaram Temple

Sardar Odhekar of Peshwa built this simple, large temple in 1782.The main deities Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshmana are pretty black in colour and festooned with knick-knacks. The gold plated copper dome and other sculptures of this magnificient shrine displays brilliant structural design. Built with black stones, the70 feet high temple happens to be the busiest temples in the locality.

This grand edifice plunks in the midst of a walled corral of 96 columns and accessible through a vaulted porch. There are great procession and festivities. On the festive occasions like Ramnavami, Dushera and Chaitra Padwa and the temple looks gorgeous with grand processions and marvelous decorations. The temple premises also hold small shrines dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Lord Vithala and Lord Ganesha.

Sharanpur Road is one of the major location in Nasik. It is situated at the centre of city. This road is approximetly 2 KM long which starts from Old CBS and end towards Canada Corner.

College Road

College Road is one of the most important Business Point in Nasik. This is most crowded area of Nasik. This Road is approximately 2.5 KM long and is about 2 KM away from CBS.
This road starts from Canada Corner and End towards Mahatma Nagar. HPT, RYK and BYK colleges are located on this road. Big Bazar, Cinemax and McDonald are major attraction of this road.
Major Commercial Complex on this road are Asavari Chambers, Parashuram Apartment, Sky Mall, Vitthal Charani, Sakhare Archade, Vishwanath Sankul, Gajanan Complex, etc.

Mahatma Nagar

Mahatma Nagar is also one of the major commercial location in Nasik. It is about 5 KM away from CBS and is about 2.5 KM Long. It starts from Bhosala Military School and end towards ABB circle on Trimak Road. Bhosala Highschool, Dr. Munje’s Institute, Mahatma Nagar Ground are situated on this road. Satpur MIDC and NICE industrial area are just close from this road. Major commercial buildings on this road are Thakker complex, Ramrajya, Dev’s Archade and United Legend. M.G Road

Mahatma Gandhi Road ( M.G. Road ) is one of the old Market Place in Nasik. This road is about half KM away from CBS and is approximetely One KM long. This road starts from Meher Signal and End towards Main Road. Bytco Highscool, Government Girls Highscool, Peth Vidyalay, Sarada Highscool, High School Ground, Red Cross Hospital, Phavade Lane are just nearby to this road.
